In today’s NYT there is an article on the latest cell phone from Sprint called the Reclaim. The Reclaim is made from corn. That’s right. A cellphone made from corn and they’re calling it bioplastic. Nice :)
Not only is the phone made from bioplastic, but the box is made from recyclable material and $2 of every sale goes to the Nature Conservancy. It comes in ‘earth green’ or ‘ocean blue’. Actually I saw a picture of it and it doesn’t look that bad. Pretty cool looking. And it’s only $50. Which is pretty unbelievable…and cool.
